I figured out how to build a page (built quite a nice one, actually), but what I don't see (and what I'd really like) is a badge to put on my Facebook page and blog pages so that my friends and followers could click through to easily visit my Alltop page. I mean, what good is it if I'm the only one who can find it?

Seems like those badges are only available right now for people whose blogs are "Alltop-approved" (mine isn't and maybe doesn't deserve to be). I suppose I could make my own, but it doesn't seem like I should have to...

I watched the video, which was stylistically awesome but which I found to place form over function. Judging by the plethora of confused users commenting on this, I wasn't the only one nonplussed.

I think that the video is an excellent and very creative promotional piece but that the users above are looking for something that is more of a step by step tutorial (which has been addressed by adding the screenshots and instructions that follow the video).

Also, I believe that users are confused by the fact that they cannot customize the banner on their Alltop page. The banner ads that are currently being run feature smiling users and advertise the ability to "build your custom page." I signed up for the service with the presumption that I would be able to add my own smiling endorsement of Alltop to the top of my "customized" page.

I believe that many of the users above may have been led to the same conclusion and are reacting to the disappointment of not being able to add a custom banner with their own picture. This is not so much a reaction to your advertising as a product of exposure to other blog/social networking sites that condition users to upload photos and make the pages their own.

By only going halfway and offering users a "vanity URL" without the ability to add a photo, joining Alltop feels anti-climatic and a bit of a let-down.

I am a huge fan of the service that you offer and I hope that you don't take this the wrong way--I just wanted to give you my honest assessment of the situation and offer some useful insights.

All my best,

Catherine

I just signed up and find this site very vague. Where are the instructions??? How do I get my site on the main page i.e. under Toronto or Fashion? I used the "submit a site" feature but will this work?

Same problem,no functionality not only that it keeps telling me to ding in even though I'm signed in and it is saying welcome cooper.

I find this very confusing. I just created an account and dunno what to do with it :(

The site seems quite unintuitive.

Couldn't get it to work either. How do you select topics to add to your alltop page? All I see is the Alltop blog.

How can I get a MyAlltop badge to add to my blog?

I created an account but there is no functionality! unbelieveable!

I'm the least techie geeky blond around here, and I figured it out in 5 minutes. Of course, I did take a peek at the video, oh so that's how you add blogs to your page... hmmm...

MaxFlight, I will send you an email.

Hi Guy - looks like I'm not alone here! I just got my page set up, but am not finding a way to add blogs to my site or anything else for that matter. How do I add my photo? How do I edit my profile? I'd love to add this to Facebook or blog about it, but not until I can get these basic things sorted out. Am holding my breath - would love to get this going....

I never got a confirmation email and I don't see any way to add content to my page. What's up?

I don't want support by email - I want a help document on your site. Yesterday!

Generally there is an URL presented in the subtitle of each of these pages.

Why isn't it a clickable hyperlink?

I swear I just made things work better using IE. With Firefox, I was in limbo with it.

I like this mypage idea, altough I am on a business trip I managed to fiddle with it in the lunch brake, now I am trying to see my page, I see the links I have added but where is my picture ? My site's info ? My name ?

Very disappointed with the user experience on MyAlltop. Very unlike Guy Kawasaki!
Registered the account, clicked on the activation email, got to an empty page that kept re-loading with the /feeds at the end. After deleting the cookie started over again. Now "my" page is empty except for the Alltop Blog block. Spent some time adding items on your home page - while being logged in! - and when I'm returning to "my" page there is no content. Don't have time enough to spend on this which should be a cinch. Guess I'll continue with my GoogleReader and Feedly.

I don't see any way on MyAllTop to add my two blogs. Is there something I'm missing too?

David, we'll contact you via email to help you get started with MyAlltop.

Agree with other comments. Please help us slower folks on exactly how to add blogs to our customer Alltop

Just figured out I had to go to the top right of the page to go to the Alltop Home page. Funny what a little perserverance can do. :O)

How can I add non-alltop syndicated blogs? Or can I not?

This is a book that I wrote to help women with their pregnany.

It is all about staying as comfortable as possible while pregnant.

Not sure how to use this program yet and according to some of the posts I guess others are trying to figure it out also. :O)

I figured it out...
