I agree with Michael. It's all about popularity now. Sad to see it but I guess that's what happens when the people behind it are only after the revenue.

The Alltop writing feed has been frozen/ stuck for several days. I thought there would be some mention of it here on the blog. Am I the only one who has noticed the problem?

It's been almost a week since the AI finals, many are disappointed of the outcome, saying that Adam should've won instead if Kris but I think Kris Allen deserves the title as much as Adam is deserving. They both are talented. Adam was a sure bet from the start upon seeing him perform but I guess it was Kris who got lucky. Either way, it's a sure success for Adam with or without the title.

American Idol started as a talent contest migrated to a popularity contest with the proliferation of social media and is now, with the two finalist in 09 - one staight and a minister's son, the other gay and Jewish into a social study. 100 million votes.
